What are the actual course dates?
Your core training course will take place from Monday 9 am till Friday 3.30 pm. In addition to that you will have a choice of afternoon and evening sessions most of the days at 4 pm and 8 pm.
The published arrival/departure days are travelling days and include first Sunday and the last Saturday of the course.

Can I apply for EU funding to cover the costs of the course?
EU funding is available to all EU countries and their residents. If you are other nationality but are living and working in one of the EU countries you can also apply for the grant from the EU. The grant will cover not only the costs of the course including accommodation but also travel and subsistence. All Pilgrims courses are eligible for EU funding.

What is the procedure if I apply for EU funding?
Once you have chosen a course which suits your requirements, check the availability of the course with Pilgrims then reserve your place with us. Once we’ve received your full registration form we will confirm your place and issue a confirmation letter together with other relevant course documents. This forms part of your EU application process. You need to submit the online application form to your National Agency and shortly after post a hard copy with all relevant documentation including director’s recommendation and schools seals. Bear in mind there are three deadlines for the submission: mid January for Summer courses, mid April for Autumn courses and mid September for Easter courses. Please note that you must advise Pilgrims immediately if your application for funding has not been approved and it is necessary to cancel your reservation.  Should your application be approved please make payment promptly either by bank transfer or by authorising us to debit your card with the course fees.

What happens when I do not get funding?
Should your application for the funding be unsuccessful please inform Pilgrims as soon as possible in order to cancel your reservation. As long as you cancel your booking at least five weeks before the course start date there is no cancellation charge. After that date a charge may be imposed. Please note that Pilgrims reserves the right to keep the full fees if you cancel your reservation after the course starts.
